Head of ICECREAM - driving workflow automation crazy and to it's limits :-p

AI and workflow automation is nice, if you use it wisely and it can help you nowadays with big workloads, but yesterday it failed.
After 350 congratulation emails here on LinkedIn to my new job #HEADOFICECREAM, I think 70% were automated and serious without any smilies or ironic comments ;-) and it showed the #salespeople here working with workflow automation and triggers in the CRM and other tools. ;-)
It was real fun to see that and on the other side, that there are a loot of people outside, who are also sick of these job title bulshitting we have today, instead of getting a salary upgrade every year, you get crazy jobtitles. Maybe nice for 20 years old new-bees, but be careful your older employees are not stupid and got it, what the leadership is doing. Titles for the workforce and Boni for the Management.
Enjoy your Thursday, thanks and the pleasure is on my side :-)

AI in Headhunting: What has changed since 2024

What has changed in the past year? ( see article on AI from 2024 .) Copilot and Gemini are well integrated into our workflows, with us using Gemini more often. What does AI do for us in headhunting? Summarize emails from projects Transcribe video calls during candidate interviews to then provide the client with a short video and summary of the conversation, along with the C...

The Untapped Power of Connection: Why Business Networks Are Essential

In today's fast-paced, interconnected world, success in business isn't just about what you know, but who you know. While skills and experience are undeniably crucial, the power of a strong business network can be the catalyst that propels your career or company to new heights. Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur, a fresh graduate, or somewhere in between, cultivating and nurturing your network is an investment that yields significant returns. Let's explore why business networks are so vital: 1. Expanding Opportunities: Networks are gateways to opportunities you might never otherwise encounter. They expose you to potential clients, partners, investors, mentors, and even job opportunities that aren't advertised publicly. A well-connected individual is privy to inside information, early access to projects, and introductions to key decision-makers. These connections can provide opportunities for collaborations, funding, and career advancements that would be conside...
